"I picked up a few new CDs from Atlantic Canadian artists during the ECMA weekend but the one that put the biggest smile on my face is this collaboration between Cape Breton fiddler Dwayne Coté and Newfoundland guitarist Duane Andrews.

Individually, these two have been among my favourite instrumentalists for years, their pairing is sheer genius. Whether taking a relaxed swing through the Hank Snow hit A Fool Such As I or hearing them give a gypsy jazz lilt to J.S. Skinner's Back to the Hills, their musicianship and camaraderie provides pure joy from start to finish."
